    28 February 1963

    Transferred to 74 (Fighter) Squadron, RAF Coltishall.
    Operated with markings: B
    Served as part of the Fighter Command Aerobatic Team.

    30 July 1964

    Base of operations changed.
    RAF Leuchars, Fife.

    13 January 1965

    Transferred to 226 Operational Conversion Unit.

    By 1970

    Transferred to Fife to Target Facilities Flight, RAF Leuchars, Fife.
    Used older Lightnings in training as controlled air targets for the resident fighter squadrons.

    28 June 1971

    Transferred to 60 Maintenance Unit, RAF Leconfileld, East Yorkshire.

    21 January 1972

    Assigned to 60 Maintenance Unit, RAF Leconfileld, East Yorkshire for storage.
