    Raced as #11, named City Slicker / Country Boy.
    The race was from Van Nuys, CA, to Cleveland. Competed at the National Air Races Cleveland in the Bendix Reciprocating Division race. The primary pilot was John Yandell. Started the B Feature race, but did not finish. Left the race at Hutchinson, KS.

    Virgil Kaufmann was President of Aero Service Corp and wanted to donate a P-38 to the USAFM. He exchanged modified long-nosed survey aircraft N90813 for Bob BeanaCOs plane and both donated the aircraft to the USAFM.
