    Event

    Constructed as a Mosquito B.35.
    Built at the Airspeed factory in UK after the war

    Was allocated s/n VR796 with the Royal Canadian Air Force but was not taken up.
    Never saw active service. Built after the war, it went directly into storage.

    1954

    To Air Services, Ottawa with new c/r CF-HML.
    One of a batch of 10 purchased by Spartan.

    1966

    Disassembled.
    Disassembled by the Royal Canadian Air Force.

    To Don Campbell keeping c/r CF-HML.
    Acquired by Mr. Campbell with the intention of making it airworthy again.

    Transported by ground.
    Moved to the Kapuskasing Airport in northern Ontario. The idea was to use it to teach Air Cadets aircraft construction and maintenance.

    Restoration started.

    By 1979

    To Ed Zalesky.

    Restoration continued.
    The restoration resumed by the pace dragged.

    2005

    To Bob Jens.

    Based at Victoria Air Maintenance, Victoria Airport (formerly Patricia Bay Airport), Victoria, BC.

    Notes: 2014 photo at Victoria. BC - Returning after its first post-restoration flight is this DH.98 Mosquito Mk.35. It came from a 1947 batch that never saw war service and instead was operated by Spartan Air Services as CF-HML on photo-surveys.
