    Crashed.
    Summary: The damage to the airframe was substantial. There were 4,273 hours and 3,313 cycles on the airframe at the time. It was a local fire fighting flight from Seia Airport (LPSE), Portugal. The accident occurred at Chamadouro, Santa Domba Dao (Portugal) while taking off. The airframe was damaged beyond repair. Narrative: A Canadair CL-215-1A10 air tanker sustained substantial damage in an aborted takeoff accident at the Aguieira reservoir. Both pilots survived the accident. The airplane was scooping water from the reservoir to combat a fire in the area...
