    Operated with markings: SCAT XXVII, FG

    20 May 1967

    Col. Robin Olds, the aircraft commander, and Lt. Stephan B. Croker, the backseat pilot, downed two MiG-17s over North Vietnam.

    From December 1967 to 1969

    Transferred to 12th Tactical Fighter Wing (PACAF), Cam Ranh Bay AB, South Vietnam.
    Deployments to Kunsan AB and Taegu ABs Korea, and Misawa AB Japan.
