    Assigned this maintenance serial at Hooton.

    From 1959 to 1988

    Transferred to RAF Sealand, Flintshire.
    Displayed as a gate guard on a plinth.

    To Historic Flying Ltd/Tim Routsis, Cambridge.

    August 1988

    To Eddie Coventry, Earls Colne.

    14 October 1988

    Transported by ground.
    Moved from RAF Sealand to Audley End for re-build by Historic Flying Limited.

    To BAC Aviation Ltd/Eddie Coventry, Romford, Essex with new c/r G-OXVI.

    Restored.
    Markings Applied: TD248, D
    The work was carried out at Audley End. Finished in a special RAF air race silver and red scheme.
