    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 43-15509.

    28 May 1944

    Transferred to Ninth Air Force, 37th troop carrier Squadron, 316th troop carrier group, Cottesmore-Station 489.

    6 June 1944

    Transported paratroopers of 3rd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment and 456th Parachute Field Artillery Battalion, to a drop zone near Sainte-Mere-Eglise, Normandy, France during Mission Boston.

    17 September 1944

    Transported Paratroopers of the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division to a drop zone near Overasselt, South West of Nigmegen Netherlands during Operation Market Garden.

    18 September 1944

    Towed a Waco GC-4A Glider transporting men and materials for the 319th Glider Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division to a landing zone near Groesbeek, Netherlands during Operation Market Garden. En Route to this Target, several British Bombers towing gliders passed underneath causing turbulence for this glider, The Tow rope broke and the glider was ditched in the North Sea close to an RAF Air Sea Rescue Launch 18 miles from Great Yarmouth.
