The cargo flight departed Timika-Moses Kilangin (Tembagapura) Airport (TIM/WAYY), Indonesia and was destined for Ilaga Airport (ILA/WABL), Indonesia. The accident occurred at 11 km (6. 9 mls) S of Ilaga Airport (ILA) (Indonesia) while en route.
