    Constructed as a F-14A-130-GR by Grumman at Calverton, New York, USA.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 161863.

    By 1987

    Transferred to VF-31, Carrier Air Wing Six (CVW-6), USS Forrestal.
    Operated with markings: AE-107

    February 1999

    Transferred to VF-14.

    April 2001

    Markings Applied: AJ204

    16 December 2003

    Struck off Strength/Charge from the United States Navy.

    8 March 2004

    George Smichnick comments (March 2015): I took custody of this F14A while it was in Hangar 101 at NAS JAX on 8 March 2004. I asked NAVAIR if i could have the aircraft for the Heritage Park of old aircraft and was awarded custody.

    From Circa June 2004 to January 2005

    Restored.
    George Smichnick comments (March 2015): I got 11 volunteers and over a 7 month period put it all back together, painted in the VF84 1976 1980 paint scheme and took it to the park. I still do repairs on the aircraft and we parked in the park on the morning of 11 January 2005.
