    Rebuilt and marked to represent A6969. The original A6969 was written off on 17 December 1929 after a crash landing on Jones Farm, Hampton, VA.

    To Roy Reagan, Chico, CA with new c/r N6969.

    Markings Applied: U.S.NAVY, A6969
    Apparently Mr. Reagan had painted and marked the plane as F6C-1 A6969 because the NMNA said its been on display since 1986, the year they acquired it, so it must have been painted as such.
