Incorrect. Ther aircraft survived, complete, inside DMI until March 2017 when it was dismantled for transportation to Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Throughout the 1990s and up to the time it was dismantled, it was fitted with the tail fin (folded flat) from 52-0841. The actual tail fin from 54-2604 was fitted to 53-0298 for display at Warner Robbins AFB, Georgia. |
