    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 62-4487.

    Notes: 1971 photo at Winnipeg - Looking pretty grubby is this T-39A Sabreliner inbound for overhaul. Note the extended speed-brake. Reportedly an attempt was made by Osama Bin Laden to acquire this machine after it retired in the mid-1980s

    By 1972

    Transferred to 1st Composite Wing, Andrews AFB, MD.

    Converted to a CT-39A.

    Transferred to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARC).

    Supposedly the plane that Essam Al Ridy purchased for Osama bin Laden from AMARC.

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force Loan Program, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
