    Constructed as an EP-106.

    15 October 1940

    Executive order by President Roosevelt for undelivered EP-106 to be requisitioned and impressed into USAAC as P-35A.

    October 1940

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Corps with s/n 41-17449 as a P-35A.
    Not TOS. On list of embargoed aircraft, to be impressed by USAAC as P-35A 41-17449. Apparently not impressed prior to delivery to Sweden.

    By October 1940

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Flygvapnet with s/n 2126 as a J 9 and operated with these markings: 26.

    Circa October 1940

    Transferred to Goteborg Air Base, Sweden.

    Assigned to F9 Air Force Base, Goteborg, Sweden for storage.
    Stored in improvised Museum.

    18 June 1971

    Transported by air. Delivered to National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
    Flown from Sweden in C-124C.

    Marked as the P-35A flown by 1st Lt. Buzz Wagner of the 17th Pursuit Squadron in the Philippines in the spring of 1941.
