		Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n XW664.
7 July 1971		Transferred to 51 Squadron, RAF Wyton. Was the first Nimrod delivered to 51 Squadron.
21 October 1973		Following it is fitting out it under took it is first training sortie on this date.
3 May 1974		The first operational sortie took place on this date.
10 May 1974		Fully commissioned in to RAF service on this date.
From 1995 to June 2011		Transferred to 51 Squadron, RAF Waddington.
June 2011		Struck off Strength/Charge. Retired from service.
24 June 2011		Transferred to RAF Waddington.
28 June 2011		Struck off Strength/Charge. Officially retired from service on this date.
From 1 July 2011 to 2 July 2011		Placed on static display at the Waddington International Air Show.
12 July 2011		Delivered to East Midlands Airport.
		Subjected to a declassification and decommission process.
19 November 2011		Transported by ground. Delivered to East Midlands Aeropark, East Midlands Airport (North Side), Castle Donington, Leicestershire/Leics, England. Moved into the Aeropark on this date. View the Location Dossier
