    Transferred to Detachment 51, 354th Tactical Fighter Wing, Myrtle Beach AFB, SC.

    From October 1961 to July 1962

    Established seven world records in 1961-1962 for helicopters in its class for rate of climb, altitude, and distance traveled.

    18 September 1962

    Redesignated as HH-43B.

    Circa June 1971

    Transferred to Detachment 3, 42nd Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Squadron, Kirtland AFB, NM.

    April 1973

    Ferry flight. Delivered to National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
