    Circa 1942

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 42-23757.

    29 May 1943

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Marine Corps with BuNo 12436 as a R4D-5.

    Redesignated as C-47H.

    December 1963

    Notes: Douglas C-47H Bu12436 was based in Canberra with the US Naval Attache to the US Embassy. At Adelaide December 1963.

    5 July 1966

    Ferry flight.
    Army picked up 12436 from Davis Mothan AFB and was flown to Fort Rucker, AL.

    Aircraft acceptance inspection conducted by Page Aircraft, Fort Rucker, AL and aircraft began flying for the Army Aviation Center.

    By June 1990

    To United States Army Aviation Museum, Fort Rucker, Enterprise, AL.
