    January 1965

    Deployed to Viet Nam.

    25 August 1965

    Involved in an incident.
    Received small arms fire while landing at Danang, South Viet Nam.

    Transferred to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 352 (VMGR-352), MCAS Iwakuni, Japan.
    Operated with markings: QB

    From Circa 1966 to Circa 1975

    Deployed to Okinawa, Japan. Continued providing support for the Viet Nam War.

    Circa 1975

    Transferred to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 234 (VMGR-234), NAS Glenview, IL.
    Operated with markings: QH, 8892

    To Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.
    Used as a maintenance and loadmaster trainer. Only the fuselage survives here.
