    Crashed.
    Summary: The damage to the airframe was substantial. There were 3,712 hours on the airframe at the time. This was a domestic non scheduled passenger flight. The accident occurred at 48 km (30 mls) W of Port Alsworth, AK (United States of America) while taking off. The airframe was repaired. Narrative: At the beginning of the takeoff water run from a remote lake, the hydraulically actuated flaps were retracted from the fully extended (takeoff) to 1/2 position. He said the airplane came up on step normally, and he then attempted to pump the flaps to the fully extended position...
