    Constructed as a Spitfire XIVe.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n RM873.

    Transferred to 401 Squadron (RCAF).

    Transferred to 402 Squadron (RCAF).

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Thai Air Force with s/n U14-6.

    1981

    The mainplane was acquired by Peter Sledge of Sydney, NSW, Australia, for the restoration of another Spitfire, s/n RR232 RAF.

    By 1985

    The fuselage was placed in storage at Sawankalok.

    By 1989

    Placed on display at Sawankalok, Thailand.

    From By 1993 to By 1994

    The fuselage was placed in storage at Chiang Mai AB.

    By 1994

    To Tango Squadron/Foundation for the Preservation and Development of Thai Aircraft, Chiang Mai AB.

    By 1995

    The fuselage was moved to Bangkok-Don Muang.

    While at Bangkok-Don Muang the fuselage was stripped of parts for use in other Spitfire restorations.

    From By 2003 to By 2004

    The fuselage hulk was placed in open storage at Ta Khli AB.

    By 2007

    The forward fuselage was placed in storage at Saraburi Aero Park, Thailand.

    To Vintage Wings of Canada, Gatineau, QC.
    The remains which arrived at Vintage Wings included the fuselage and smaller components. There were no wings or an engine.
