    Transported by ship. Delivered to RAAF, Australia.

    October 1943

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Australian Air Force with s/n A58-246.

    Circa February 1944

    Transferred to No. 54 Squadron (RAF), RAAF Station Darwin.
    Operated with markings: DL-A
    Personal mount of Squadron Leader E M Gibbs.

    Transferred to No. 452 Squadron (RAAF).
    Operated with markings: QY-F

    25 August 1945

    Crashed.
    Damaged in crash landing, Lake Tarang, Victoria.

    1945

    Transferred to RAAF Nhill, Victoria.
    For use as instructional airframe.

    To local farm via RAAF disposals.

    To Richard E. Hourigan and Ron Lee, Melbourne, Victoria.
    Hulk recovered from the farm.

    1975

    To Ian A. Whitney, Romsey, Victoria.

    1975

    Restoration started.
    Began long-term restoration, intended to fly, at Essendon, Point Cook, Romse.

    3 June 1998

    To Guy Black/Aerovintage Ltd, Hastings, Sussex, England.

    June 1998

    Transported by ship.
    Restored fuselage and unrestored wings shipped to UK.

    1998

    To Imperial War Museum, Duxford, England.

    1998

    To United States Air Force Museum, Wright FIeld, Dayton, OH.
    Traded for a B-24; aircraft remained in England for restoration.

    From 1998 to 1999

    Restoration continued.
    Fuselage completed at Sandown and Wesfield, wings restored at Imperial War Museum.

    13 December 1999

    Restoration continued.
    Fuselage arrived at Imperial War Musem to mate with wings.

    16 February 2000

    Restoration completed.
    Static restoration completed and rolled out in primer paint at Duxford.

    March 2000

    Transported by air. Delivered to United States Air Force Museum, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
    Airfreighted by C-5A.
