    Crashed.
    Summary: The damage to the airframe was substantial. There were 20,577 hours on the airframe at the time. It was a local testing flight from Seattle-Boeing Field International Airport, WA (BFI/KBFI), United States of America. The accident occurred at Elliott Bay, WA (United States of America) while on approach. The airframe was repaired. Narrative: Boeing Stratoliner N19903, built in 1940, was restored to flying conditions and rolled out on June 23, 2001 in Seattle. The aircraft was restored to original condition with Pan American Airlines livery, carrying the name Clipper Flying Cloud...

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Seattle, WA, United States while on appoach. The damage was substantial. The crew had originally planned to practice landings at an airport about 20 minutes away, then stop, refuel the airplane and subsequently return to the original departure airport. Prior to the flight, the crew discussed fuel endurance, which was calculated to be 2 hours based on the captains knowledge of the airplanes fuel consumption and the quantity of fuel indicated on the gauges...
