    Dates

    Event

Constructed as a C-82A-10-FA by Fairchild at Hagerstown, Maryland, USA.

    Circa 1944

Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 44-22991.

From Circa 1950 to Circa 1959

    Transferred to Ravenna Arsenal.
Leon Cleaver comments: As I recall, Walter indicated he bought remains from the Ravenna Arsenal, probably part of the NACA crash tests of the early 1950s. My first trip to his property was in 1967 and the C-82 was already there.

    By 1965

To Walter Soplata Aviation Collection, Newbury, Cleveland, OH.
Survives here incomplete, apparently the fuselage only.
