    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Marine Corps with BuNo 153292.

    By 1968

    Transferred to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463 (HMH-463), MCAS Kaneohe Bay, HI.
    Operated with markings: YH-2

    From 1968 to 1969

    Stand-by ready for mission at Marble Mountain Air Facility, Vietnam.

    20 November 1968

    Took part in combat assault Operation Meade River.

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number 2J0041.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 67-30044 as a TH-53A.

    30 July 1987

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number HC0022.

    23 September 1999

    Transferred to Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex, Robins AFB, GA.
    Used for Aircraft Battle Damage Repair Training.
