    Involved in an incident.
    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number CHI72FEP07: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 18:32 hours. The damage was substantial. This was a local flight from Oshkosh, WI. There was a fire or explosion in flight while performing aerobatics. Experienced an uncontrolled collision with terrain in an uncontrolled descent. Report remarks include: Pilot rptd fuel streaming along left side of fuselage. Both occupants parachuted from acft. Incident occurred at or near Pickett, WI.

    Restored.
    This was more like a reconstruction. At the same time Mr. Tischler built three F3F-2s using parts and data plates from several burnt-out hulks retrieved from Hawaii.
