    Apparently the FAA record indicated Mr. Marlin assembled the airframe from parts.

    Rebuilt as Green Machine, a P-51B-1-10NA with USAAF s/n 43-21210 which was converted during WWII to the first bubble canopy P-51D.

    Competed at the National Air Races Mojave in the Unlimited class. The primary pilot was Fred Sebby. Qualified in 7th place with an average speed of 284.15 mph. Raced in the Consolation race. Finished in 8th place with an average speed of 289.67 mph. Raced in the Championship race. Finished in 7th place with an average speed of 257.89 mph.

    Competed at the National Air Races Mojave in the Drag race. The primary pilot was Fred Sebby. Raced in Heat 1. Finished in 1st place with an average speed of 248.20 mph.

    Raced as #17, named Green Machine.
    Competed at the National Air Races Mojave in the Speed Sprint class. The primary pilot was Fred Sebby. Raced in Heat 1. Finished in 7th place with an average speed of 263.12 mph. Raced in Heat B. Finished in 6th place with an average speed of 269.67 mph.

Finished in 3rd place with an average speed of 231.06 mph. On the Friday Medellion Race crossed the finish line in third, but was dropped to 6th place for cutting a pylone on lap #4.

    Competed at the National Championship Air Races in the Unlimited class. The primary pilot was Fred Sebby. Qualified in 18th place with an average speed of 346.93 mph.

    Competed at the National Championship Air Races in the Unlimited class. The primary pilot was Fred Sebby. Qualified in 23rd place with an average speed of 320.40 mph.
