    From Holme on Spalding Moor.

    May 1962

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Navy with s/n XN923.

    May 1962

    Transferred to 700Z NAS, RNAS Lossiemouth.
    The Royal Navy Buccaneer Trials Squadron.

    July 1962

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Aircraft Establishment with s/n XN923.

    July 1962

    Transferred to A and AEE, RAE Boscombe Down.
    For Deck clearance trials for the type.

    Circa 1963

    Transferred to RAE Farnborough.
    Carried out a lot of test and development work, which included the fitting of the fixed refuelling probe. It also had a detachable nose cone used for flying various pieces of equipment in.
