    Transferred to Otter Transition School, Fort Ord, CA.

    Notes: Although the history found shows this plane assigned to Ft. Bragg in May 1971, this photo shows it there two months earlier. Taken with an Instamatic 126 camera, the C-47 was the center of focus. I cropped the photo to show the Otter. Between the type camera used, and the cropping, the quality is poor. But it does show the aircraft there in March.

    Transferred to Golden Knights Parachute Team, Fort Bragg, NC.

    12 May 1981

    Assigned to United States Army Aviation Museum, Fort Rucker, AL for storage.
    Stored at Guthried AAF.

    One of the last two Otters in US Army Service.
