    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 41-11297.

    Transferred to Reconstruction Finance Corporation, Gary Field, TX.

    To unknown owner with c/r N67208.

    By 1972

    Camouflaged BT-13A (N67208), bearing Mexican national insignia, was seen at Van Nuys, California, in 1972, replete with an R-1340 engine. Despite appearances, this aircraft (41-11297) was not an FAM Valiant, merely the result of a private US owner with a sense of humor. (Network54.com).

    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number LAX73FUQ07: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 12:15 hours. The damage was substantial. Incident occurred at the Fox Field Airport, Lancaster, CA. This was a local flight from Lancaster, CA. The engine failed or malfunctioned during the initial climb. The gear collapsed during the landing rollout. The factors included; overload failure. There was complete power loss in the failure of one engine...

Incident occurred at the Name Of Airport - Clover Airport, Friendswood, TX. This was a local flight from Friendswood, TX. Suffered a hard landing on touch down. Collided with ditches during the landing rollout. Report remarks include: Remarks- un to see ovr nose in landing attitude. Tchdwn approximately 10 to 20 feet left of runway after bouncing.
