    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Louisville, KY, United States while cruising. The damage was substantial. The pilot was en route to have a radio installed when the engine lost power. He made an autorotative landing in an open field. When the helicopter contacted the ground, the main rotor, tail rotor, tail boom and skids were damaged. The pilot stated that he thought there was sufficient fuel to complete the flight, but the helicopter ran out of fuel short of the airport.

    Crashed.
    There were two serious injuries. The accident occurred at Georgetown, IN, United States while taking off. The damage was substantial. The pilot started to takeoff from area that was difficult to exit. He relanded once. During the second attempt to fly out, the helicopter collided with trees and crashed. The pilot was not rated in helicopters, but he said he had soloed.
