US Navy RP-3A Orion,149667, from VXN-8 pictured at St Johns, Newfoundland, on 28 November 1978. The aircraft, wearing officially-sanctioned El Coyote artwork for Project Seascan, a world-wide programme collecting thermal and acoustic data from the oceans in order to improve environmental forecasting.

Notes: N9890A - de Havilland Dove Series 7 - Ex-Moroccan Air Force - Meknes/Bassatine - Flames lick the bottom of the port engine cowling during and engine run at Meknes in November 1978. The small fire caused some minor damage to the engine itself and also burnt away the fabric covered control surfaces on the same wing. The damage was soon repaired and the aircraft delivered to its new owners shortly afterwards. This aircraft is now resident at Malaga airport in Spain, a long-term resident of the local fire station.

Notes: One of two Fennecs (the other being 51-35365/HR-232A) which transitted from Morocco to the USA in November 1978 after being sold to the Honduran Air Force. A Renault 12 is used as a makeshift tractor to tow HR-231A from the hangar at Meknes

Notes: During a transit flight from Halifax NS to Newark NJ, two T-28 Fennecs, 51-3528 and 51-3565, met a US Army Huey for a bit of formation flying. The former is pictured from the cab of the Huey as they make their way northwards along Sandy Hook, close to Surf City.

Notes: Phil Dawe, pictured with ex-Royal Moroccan Air Force T-28, 51-3528/HR-231A, at Horta on the Azores, 27 November 1978.The aircraft was one of a pair (the other being 51-3565/HR-232A) which had night-stopped at the island while flying from Morocco to St Johns in Newfoundland whilst being delivered for the Honduran Air Force. The aircraft has been fitted with drop tanks from a Gloster Meteor NF.14 and painted with a sharks mouth

Notes: T-28 Fennec 51-3528/HR-231A pictured shortly after arriving at St Johns from Horta in the Azores, 28 November 1978. The aircraft was one of a pair of ex-Royal Moroccan Air Force Fennecs on their way to Honduras. The aircraft bears the name Broken Promise IV which was applied at Horta.
