Photo Date: On 21 December 1968 Credit: Dee Gould Date Uploaded: 4 April 2013 Airframe: Stinson 108-1, c/n 108-1653, c/r N8653K Notes: I owned this airplane from late 1968 until early 1970. It had been metalized and the engine had been replaced with a 190hp Lycoming with a Hartzel controllable pitch prop. It was a bit nose heavy with the big Lycoming up front which made 3-point landings impossible with full flaps unless the back seat was full, but the climb performance was really great.
